Just made a bunch if posts and everything ran smoothly. Seems quite a bit faster than the old software.
 
I've implemented some tabbed navigation at the top of every page. If you hate scrolling, just go to the top, click on "categories" and select where you want to go; the links will take you to the main landing page of each
 
Thanks all. Found some of these with your help. I used to be able to bang round in here faster than greased lightning, now I feel like a slug. I will never be able to go on here at lunch from work and check things out, not enough time at least until I figure out how to navigate all this.
 
Can we make things bigger/resize them? Like this for example, doesn't fit my whole name (minor but annoying)

Not quite at the last thing I am going to devote energy to, but in the vicinity. I'll look around after all the other fires are out

Tapatalk is disabled for now. The forums are mobile-friendly and there are options in your profile to receive various alerts. Will consider Tapatalk later, maybe.

Understandable, I just found Tapatalk is way easier than the mobile option especially when trying to add pictures or videos to posts. You could upload via your phone and not have to direct link to outside websites and what not. Thanks again!
 
You don't have to direct link to outside websites anymore with the new software. Well, you shouldn't have to. Try it and see, this software is really smooth

Someone asked how to get around to another sub-forum after they've posted to a thread. In the Navigation bar way out to the right is a blue arrow. Hover your cursor over that and a "Open quick navigation" button appears. Click on that and you can navigate anywhere in the site.

I'm an old guy with old eyes and just recently started using reading glasses so the current white background is a boon to me.

So far, the only problem with the new improved Blade Forums is me. It'll just take awhile to get used to it.

As to the complaints about all the scrolling - Yeah, it's a bit of a pain but that little wheel in the middle of my mouse makes short work of it.
 
Any way to tell if there are new replies to threads I have started without actually viewing them?
 
Just wanted to say thanks again Spark! Finally got a chance to look around and I'm really impressed! I was really concerned about not having Tapatalk but after looking around this new forum does a lot of what I was using Tapatalk for especially notifications! Also the like button was a neat idea! Bottom line is you deserve a huge round of applause! And maybe a round (or two!) of whiskey!;)

Yes. There's an option to watch specific threads and be notified if someone posts a response. You'll get an alert on the site and / or an email depending on how you have it configured.
