Well...It's Friday...

Yall have fun with the feeding today. I'm 'stuck' at the pistol range this afternoon. It's tough work .. but they keep handing me free ammo and demanding i shoot it. :D

Hey Bud......why not post up a picture of your best group ?

Will you be firing your Glock 27 or another service pistol ?

Peter

Lol, now that would definitely have to be one of the downsides of your profession! We would definitely help out with the recycling process of your brass, since you fellas can't use reloads!

Glock 22 & 27 today. Standard requals. I stopped shooting for that perfect grouping a long time ago. I train for combatives .. and combat shoot my qualifications, ie: point-shoot. If your fundamentals are good, you're solid. The only place i slow down is the 25 meter line. ;)

Is that bolstered recluse? with the added white/orange liners a first of its kind? Of all the photos I have seen I do not recall seeing color liners added to a black bolstered FB before.

Alas, another Friday midterm scheduled right when the thread drops. Ah well, happy sharking everyone!

...That said, if anyone happened to be overcome with an uncontrollable urge to help me shark that Runt with the blue pinstripes, I probably wouldn't stop them... ;)

We turned lemons into lemonade on that knife, and it came out sweet! It started out as a mistake - OD green scales that got glued up with orange pinstripe over the white, instead of a black or natural base. Normally when this happens we just flip the scale over, flatten the other side, and glue it up correctly. Then the mistake, now on the outside of the scale, gets ground off when Andy's shaping the knife. This time I thought let's bolster it! I think it looks fantastic.

Any chance someone could give me the blade thicknesses of those three Runts?

I'd appreciate it!

Yes, that one turned out excellent and different. Probably has a little bit of extra thickness to it as well. I'm going to have to find my way to a PC this afternoon, Tapatalk might be to slow for this batch.
