Well...It's Friday...

Cool. I believe that the Fiddleback team is sincerely interested in finding the system that works best for ALL Fiddleback customers and the company. I really appreciate that and will continue to support the company and be a loyal customer.

For the sake of those not here in the forum during the early part of the week. You may want to use a different title for the thread than "Fiddleback Friday..." and insert preview at the beginning then edit it when you go live. Could help preempt some confusion for some people..

Yeah, I'm not trying to beat a dead horse with this topic. I just wanted to point out as the saying goes, "Different strokes for different folks." My preference has certainly evolved over the years. Even in overall size and profile of the blade.
Thinking even further, my point earlier could totally be dismissed for most individuals considering the collectors aspect. I forget that in most cases, the knives are never used, so thickness of the steel is likely a mute point. I have a few that fit this bill :rolleyes:

I may have just been referring to certain members signatures listing specific knives they are looking for? Like say, a Jared Oeser Slipjoint or a Jared Oeser fixed blade?

Forgot for a second that this was the Fiddleback forum. Although, Jared is a good guy and I believe his initial influence was through Andy Roy. It's amazing just how many great makers Andy has inspired.

Just confirming that we'll do the Preview today as we've been talking about. I'll post the sales thread (Closed, with "Preview" in the title) 10-15 minutes before 3:00 pm EST. At 3 I'll unlock it and you guys can have at it!

I think this is going to work really well for you guys! People will only be calling exactly what they know they want.

It's the day after my birthday . . . think I can convince my wife to let me shark a knife?! Not likely!! Oh well, I'll keep living vicariously through all of you :)
 
I like it Ken. I'm looking forward to it and hope it works out great with both parties. Will we still get FOTKI early?
