Hey Simon,I guess i am a little late to the show just browsing the FF thread and this one...certainly would fit in my camp of handle style, i agree....having scored the EDK in that same config last week makes me happy...two of the same would be nice but i would likely held off anyway on the BF if i would have been around yesterday.....if you guys wonder why i am not much around these days: my beautiful daughter was born 11/18 and apart from Zombie like sleep deprived behaviors that show day in and day out i have more important things to take of now...and i am the happiest dude on earth! Funny how easily you are in a state to not remember what day of the week we have....so damn worth it!....
Still hoping for that ideal Handyman before year end![]()

Hey Bill,
What is your ideal? Just curious.
I have missed a couple of very nice ones, just too slow.
Nice Ironwood or light wood burl(Spalted maple/Masur- something along those lines). Not much on really dark woods.
3/32 A2 Convex or 1/8 A2 Convex TT.
There have been some beauties but snagging one has meant going in debt, so it has to be just right
I am keen to have a Protagonist, but at a higher pricepoint- It just has to be perfect and we each have our own "halo moment"
Bill
Phillip can you please give the specs on the Bushboot with those green liners? I'm not supposed to be shopping today but I may not be able to resist that one...
