Well...It's Friday...

Nice to see all the tapered tangs this week... I think my favorites in this batch were the full size handled Ladyfinger and Kephart both with 1/8" TT.

^Yes, was also going to suggest having a look over at IG to see what’s in the pipeline. Nice blades over there

Relatively new here, but suspect you’ll have to wait for Vance to post the preview tomorrow morning (Friday) followed by the actual sales thread a bit later in the day.

Apologies if this is a dumb question but, in the context of Fiddleback Forge, what are “custom shop models”?

The Customs are all hand made in-house, usually with A2 steel and with custom scales/handles. Most are Convex, some are Scandi.

Then there are production models which (I believe) are made up externally built-to-spec parts, usually with S35VN steel and with basic canvas micarta scales/handles that are held in place with hardware. These are flat ground.
Take a look at this Outpost Link to see an example of the production Kephart field knife

To get a Custom Shop, they take one of the production model S35VN blades, usually do a regrind on it and do hand-made scales/handles on it. A nice Custom Shop Kephart can be found in this thread
