Well...It's Friday...

Brian,
It is not the time apart that creates memories but the time together. We get little time while we are here but I think you are the sort to let people know how you feel about them and THAT is what carries on.

Bill

Praying for you and you family mist.

Condolences, thoughts and prayers, Brian.

Smoke headed your way Mist. So sorry about that!

Sorry Mist, condolences to you and your family. Never easy.

Wishing you and your family the best in a difficult time.

Thoughts and prayers go to you and your family Mist.

Brian, sorry to hear about your loss. Don't beat yourself up too much about a phone call, it was the life you shared with him and his daughter and everyone else that is important in the big picture.

Brian,

I am sorry to hear about your father-in-law passing. I had a similar regret a long time ago. It caused me to make more effort to stay in touch with the important people in my life. I hope that your family ultimately draws closer as a result of this sad day.

Phil

Brian,
sorry for your loss. We'll be praying for your father-in-law.

Sorry to hear the news of your Father-in-laws passing Brian .
We will be sending prayers your way.
Take care and be kind to your self.

Mick

Thanks everyone, I appreciate all of you more than I know how to say right now.

Hey Mist, I was in Minnesota this week, and I am just now getting caught up on the forum. I am sorry to hear of your loss. Even when you think that you are prepared for these things, the reality of the loss always knocks me for a loop. My thoughts and prayers are with you my friend.

Brian, I'm sorry I didn't see this earlier. I'm so sorry to hear about your father-in-law. I'll be praying for you, your wife and the rest of the family.

Thanks fellas. I wish I could be there with her as she is filling her role as oldest and being the strong one for her mother and sister, and to be there for my daughter who, in seeing all the sadness in her mother and aunt, keeps calling me to tell me how much she loves and misses me. Lisa's strength and her spirit are among the things that drew me to her, she is a strong woman, but I know when Taps is played on Wed morning, it will be a very difficult time for her. But in the last conversation Jack and I had, he asked me to take good care of his girls, and in this case doing that means being here to carry on at a critical time.

Old way did not provide a time target for the post, new way has given some indication. Old way involved much more computer face time with a best guess based on when pics would go up on Fotki.
