Well let's start! Hand Tool Knife WIP Thingy

Thanks, Jim. I think we'd just like to know he is OK. If circumstances disallow his further participation in this project/forum that is certainly understandable--it's just his sudden dissapearance that is worrisome.

Indeed. I dont know the guy too well, but the general concensus here is that they're worried. If I can ask, when was his last post?

ive been following this post and really enjoyed it and i too have been concerned with his sudden disappearance. every1s concern really shows what a tight-nit family bladeforums members really are. Before much longer there will be a wheres
Will post...the search continues! i truly hope its just a silly reason as to why hes not been online.

I am really worried about Will.

In the beginning of this whole WIP, Will and I were emailing back and fourth pretty regularly. I have not heard form him since his last post on here.

Thank you everyone for trying to reach him!!

OK, I just got off the phone with Wills wife. Hes doing fine, so no worries about accidents etc. She said hes been working TONS, weekends and all. (And in her opinion too much). She took my number and will relay the message over to Will that we miss him, and we're looking for him. Hopefully he logs in here sometime to tell you all first hand. And she said thanks for worrying about him, and its nice to know that we care.

Sooooo.. sounds like everything is fine in the life of will at the moment.

Excellent news. Sometimes ya' just gotta take a forum break and there's nothing wrong with that. I've gotten a little burned out on other forums and taken a self-imposed rest.

In any event, this thread has been a success in getting some new knife makers started--it was just what I needed to stop reading and start filing.

Hope to have my 400 grit pre-HT sanding done this evening and it would be great to have Will's opinion.

Good to hear that he is alright. Just seemed strange that he was on here a lot, then started this whole thing and then seemingly fell off the face of the earth. But all is well, and like the saying goes... You gotta work hard before you can play hard. Hopefully he gets some time to play soon.

that really is great news! its funny because i check this regularly to see if theres any sign of will, a man ive never met or spoke with in any shape or form, and a smile spread across my face when i read that he was alright. guess we r all friends in a sense and dont even know it yet.
