Side note...
You know how we use "er" to modify nouns, referring to people who belong to a particular place or group?
Like, "prison"-er, "foreign"-er, etc. etc....

Personally I'm sorry that we couldn't have all been in the smooth wood camp... aka: smooth wooders... but we just had to pick bone.
Now you get to choose between the "smooth" camp or "saw cut" camp.

I think the correct choice becomes obvious...

Having a 3-choice poll is an obvious ploy by the "smooth bone crowd" to try and game the 2021 cover choice.
Obviously there are really 2 choices given, smooth vs visual and tactile texture, with the texture votes being diluted into 2 categories to artificially enhance the chances of the smooth crowd.

There's a reason an age-old ad campaign with a tag line of "ridged for your pleasure" sold so much product.....

Vote for enhanced tactile sensation.

Given how difficult sawcut knives are to obtain, I'm going to stick with that. I'm in for whatEVER it ends up being, but man, it'd be nice if it's Sawcut. I know Charlie will understand! :D

Ah, but smooth has visual and tactile texture in spades my friend, it's just more subtle ;) :) :thumbsup:

And come on guys, can anyone say, convincingly, that that ad campaign delivered on all it promised? :rolleyes: :D Nobody can even remember it correctly! :D ;) :thumbsup:
 
So if the current second place material gets the name ol smoothie, then the winning (and obvious best choice) material should get one too. I lack creativity, so how about Ole Roughy?

Best for removing callouses, maybe! “Grandma’s Corn Scraper”. And honestly, who could live with a name like that? 😆

I’ll be okay with saw cut if it wins. I just think smooth with bevels would be superlative. There’s not a lot of smooth bone knives with bevels out there.
