went to my area knife store!

Went to Plaza this morning and it was like being a kid in a candy store! I didn't even know where to start! Hands down the best selection of quality and high-end knives I have seen outside of a show. I talked to the owner Dan and his brother, Russ, who I was talking to most of the time. Both very nice guys and knew their knives. I spent about 45 minutes talking to them and just handling a bunch of the knives. There were so many knives I wished I could buy but I wound up picking up an Emerson CQC-7V. I'd been meaning to get an Emerson again after getting rid of my last one and really liked the 7V. Russ even pulled out a bunch he had in stock and let me hand pick the exact knife I wanted. The wole experience was awesome- I even got a free Plaza Cutkery pen! :D Thanks to Gundude (and many others) for recommending this place. Of course, I also took a bunch of pictures for you guys to check out. I'll probably add a few of the CQC-7V once I get back home.

Actually, I hate you for posting this. It makes me sad that there are no knife stores in Northern Virginia. lol. The best we got is an army surplus place with 1 or 2 counters. So jealous

sigh I feel your pain brother, ever since chesapeake knife and tool went out of business the area really hasn't had a good blade store.
