Went to the gun store, spent money. I'm happy, new EDC!

Are you going Kydex or Leather?

I was just kidding with you anyhow. Maybe that is what we need to do...get a group together to fund a MOAB for you. Then we need pics and video of you wearing it to work:D

Heck, fund me a MOAB, and I would carry that sucker to work every day!!!!

I would even take to the courthouse, and check it in with the sheriff office!!!!!

To me, XD's feel better in the hand and the trigger feels better than my Glock 22. I have pocket carried my full size Glock .40 many times, so I guess it is all relative with what is too big. When I do carry the Glock normally, It is inside the waistband too.

I normally just strap on my spur-less .357 SP101 for carry.

Very nice. I have an XD .40
I wanted the XDM, but the retarded Ca gun laws haven't approved them:barf:

And you didn't even have the decency to pick me one up for my birthday while you were there...?! Geesh :D

Just kidding. That looks super cool...and in a more non-direct way of asking how much you paid for it, is it in my price range of $500-700? It cant hurt to ask :D:D

The gun alone cost between 630-640 I can't remember to be honest, the light was about 135, but it can be found cheaper online, I would just rather pay upfront and not have to wait.

Not bad. Atleast within my range should I decide to get it. I hope you enjoy it for a long time!

I have never tried an IWB kydex holster, mostly because I have heard that they are very uncomfortable. Maybe Raven has somehow overcome that.

I know everyone is different, but for my $, I prefer leather when it come to gun holsters. Kydex definitely has a place though in the knife world.

XDM's are nice. When they release it in .357 SIG, I will buy one.

I sold my glock 32. Honestly, I like the cartridge quite a bit, packs quite a punch but ammo availability was a killer for me. I like common cartridges.

The crossbreed holsters are very nice, leather backed.

Honestly, my main concern with this holster is that it be IWB AND be molded for an XDM with a tlr-1 attached. I don't care if it's leather or kydex.

The melonite XDM40's are 600 at my local store and 640 for the Bi-tone. I would have picked up a black on black melonite one if they had had one at the time.

Bar-Sto makes some nice drop in barrels that convert the .40 S&W to the .357 Sig.

I'd like to try a XDM in the .357 Sig.

nice weapon, man, i really like the profile of that grip, as you stated, i bet that it is awesome, in hand.
19 + 1 will hold em off for a while...

I figured it was time to add a new gun to my EDC lineup. I generally switch up between a full size 1911, and a kahr compact for CCW. Today I went in and picked up an XDM 9mm and a new streamlight TLR-1 (I love these lights).

19+1 capacity
Adjustable backstraps for different hand sizes
Smooth trigger
Match grade barrel

I haven't shot it yet, but I love this gun. It points extremely well, I love the 1911 style grip safety and honestly its very thin for a double stack gun. I used to love the simplicity of Glocks, but the XDM to me is like a refined Glock, good accuracy, simple and reliable.

Now to find an IWB holster for it that will support the TLR-1, I think raven makes them.

Oooh, an XDM. An awesome pistol. I've shot them before. Very accurate and just a great overall pistol. A real advancement I think in the pistol industry. Good choice! Now all you need are some Busse Combat BULLETS. Imagine that! Those things would go through anything! ;)
