Were will knifes be in a thousend years ?

Continuous arced plasma knives contained in force fields... Aka lightsabers. If I were a multi billionaire, I'd be pouring my fortune into lightsaber technology.. I'm sure there is somebody out there who is. :)

In 1000 years, a race of self-replicating, nude, cybertronic women will rule the earth, and their laser-eyes will makes knives obsolete. Obsolete just like human males with which they used to spawn. Only Powernoodle will remain to rule over his global army of naked fembots. All hail Powernoodle!

Carefully with those laser-eyes, Unit 696!

Knifes will be obsolete in 1000 years. There will be some custom knife makers making them for anachronisms that insist on living in the past and they will then be known as knives.

Nothing will be different, perhaps ( probably ) they will eventually be made of a different material. Knives are still used for their simplicity and are pretty much the same today as they were 1000 years ago. We already have a ton of technological gadgetry that we don't apply to knives today because they just work better as simple tools. The only thing I could see being feasible is that if we somehow figure out a way to make power supplies extremely small and portable that we might have some kind of automatic knife with a vibrating blade or some kind of light-device or something. But as it stands if you wanted a "futuristic" knife you could take an eletric turkey carver around with you...

The first knife was flint with a wooden handle but flint takes skill to nap . So then came obsidian this was sharp allready but was easy to brake . So then came bronz but this was soft and bent . So then iron this was strong but britale . So then came steel this was strong and flexibul but it rusts . So then it was stainless steel . This tuck millions of years . So i ask were can we go form here ? As it come to the end ? Ps please fell free NOT to coment on my spelling .

There will always be museums so they will keep knives around for show. :D

my bet is knives will be outlawed except for robots, who are programmed to use knives legally. tampering with robots will be illegal too. light sabres may replace knives, but the same laws will apply to them too.
