West coast Beckerhead gathering in the PNW!

That's the correct date. I think anyone who wants to come should be able to. This will be a primitive campout, nothing but nature and what you bring with you. At least if we go to the Noti property that is.
 
Let me know how many contests you plan to have, and I'll start getting a box of knives together to send out for prizes.
I'll need proof in pics of the contests. After they are done, of course.

Alright an update. "Logan" the guy I know who has access to the property told me tonight that "Kurt" the property manager told him The Beckerheads are very welcome to come use the property for an event. I talked with Logan about the dates in sept 16th, 17th & 18th (3 days, 2 nights).

So It's on. Whose coming?

And I don't wanna be "The Guy" who is planning and doing all the details of this event. I am however, more than happy to be "one" of the guys planning and facilitating the event.

So, we got the site and the dates. Anybody planned somethin' like this before?

I'll get out there in the next month and take a whole load of pictures.
 
I can tell you folks that we will be behind a locked gate for the weekend. logan is gonna be out there the whole weekend with us. I'm gonna take friday off as a relaxing set up day, basically just hang out. We'll have to coordinate times for someone to ride the quad down to the gate to let people in. CB radio as well as a portable HAM will be there, and a couple of folks there will have cell coverage.

This is going to be an awesome time. I can't wait to get down there to play all these games we're going to have, and meet and hang out with you guys too. Now I think that we need to hammer out what games we want to have.

I think I'll modify my sig line to advertise the event a little. We may get some bushcrafters who don't visit this subforum to know about it that way.

I will be coming as well, I have family that live in the area so I can be there Friday to help you set up. Just let me know what you need from me and I will help out in any way I can. I will be bringing a couple of young strong men with me so don't be afraid to ask.
