Yeah, about codes and stuff. I'm not that guy. What guy might you ask, that guy who knows what a code is. I was just gonna say something like " Attention BushCrafter's. For your consideration, a gathering on the west coast"
and then put up a linky to this thread.

If someone wants to wordsmith up something gooder, I'll borrow it for awhile. Your thoughts please.
 
Will there be an event called " pulling a cork around the campfire" ?
I competed semi-professionally for a few years and was an Olympic hopeful at one point.

How many Beckers must you bring with you to enter ?

Not an event per se, but one of my favorite campfire activities. We need some folks who can tell some scary stories and some folks who will dance a hearty jig.

You don't have to bring any Beckers man. Bring what you want to compete in the contests.

On a different note, Do any of you folks want to have logan do a short class on Map and Compass, he's got the skills. I'm will to take some folks out to look for and harvest pitchwood.

Land Nav is a good skill to have, believe that. If you need enough maps for everyone, check out my topo. com, you can build your own custom map of the area, with all the details you want, for like $10. Its where I get all my maps, takes about 3 days to get them in the mail.

I should also say that there is a great place to shoot there "The Amphitheater" it has high walls for about 90*

On friday sept. 16th i'll see if I can catch us some rainbows out of the stream for dinner. I'd like to get up there this weekend to take some pictures and get some GPS coordinates.
 
I might have to come down early to help out with catching dinner. :D
 
Do it man. I wanna be up there at about 10 am ish. I thinkin' I'll grap the best spot to sleep get fire wood and a big pit ready. And basically just chill out with some warm old milwaukies.

Oh and I put in for and got those days as vacation days so this deal is going down.
 
It's about a 6 hour drive. I might have to start out on Thursday and stay an extra night; which might not be a bad thing. :D I don't know we'll see whats going on when the time comes around. If I'm driving my truck I'll probably head down a day early just so that I'll get there, but if I take my car or ride down with someone else we might get there Friday morning some time then.
 
It all good man, people get here when they get here. I think friday is just mostly for introductions and hanging out, beer will be had.
 
Too early to get a head count. But, it'd be nice to get as many folks as possible to this.
