Whacha Been Up To......

Some very nice work being posted here. Been a while since I posted any:

Been busy with leggings, belts and other things:

Over the years we've had several ball cap offerings. A buddy with a laser makes these patches for us and then Nichole sews them onto the hat.

We had two dozen and they are all gone. Never even made them to the website. Have more patches need to get some more hats.

Made this pair of leggings for our friend Jessica. White main leg color with maroon double fringe and highlights:. Small basket stamp on the leg plates and yokes:

We often have had requests to do a gunslinger stitch on belts. We always turned these down cause we didn't do it. Then recently we said why hot. Looks pretty good on our standard water buffalo belt:

Speaking of belts. Some months back I made a friend a belt for his birthday. His daughter's dog go into his closet and ate the tips of all his belts he had hanging on a rack. So I needed to boil him another.

The new one. We took the buckle from the old one:

A dress belt with customer supplied buckle set and belt blank of Herman Oak bridle leather:

A good customer in MT sent in this older Castrator knife I'd made him many years ago. He wanted a Horizontal sheath for it instead of the Vertical Pancake I'd made for it originally.

We were talking about how long he'd been buying form us and we got it figured to about 25 years. It was a litany of things. Wildrags, wool vests (like five different ones), knives, belts, holsters etc. Think I forgot to charge him for the new sheath. Kinda on purpose.

Another sheath order. The customer needed a black version for his knife too:

Was at a cutting horse event last Saturday. I noticed this young man had one of my knives and sheaths on:

He pointed out that he had one of our curb straps on his bridle too:

To be show legal in some events the curb strap must be all leather and sewn not riveted as many are. The only metal allowed are the two adjustment buckles, one on each side.

Whaha got going on?
