What’s Going on with Buck Prices?

I had to look and it's true, they really are $35. Wow, I remember paying $25, back when that was a lot of dough. I don't blame you for buying a few, because this can't last.

depends where you are...here is the 35 bucks. online in my zip code its 35...proof of screen shot just taken....

don't know where ya are maybe bigger city with higher costs of living...just guessing though?

I am in California, where everything costs more. I just filled up my wife's car with the cheapest gas around, $4.05/gal. She was in the Bay Area earlier in the week and filled up at $4.82. There are gas stations around here over $5/gal.

there ya go cost of living is higher....but pay is higher too.

Ok when i go to Walmart i always check for ammo availability and the knife case. The 110 hunter (that i buy at least one every june for the newest date stamp) are usually $34. And the 119 has been $47 forever. Today i was shopping and they had one box of shotgun shells and then my eyes almost exploded out of their sockets! The 110 was listed at $60 and the $47 119 was $70??? Guess what i’m not buying at walmart anymore?
But to be fair inflation is rising at a rapid rate so really wasn’t surprised!
Let’s go brandon!! Lol

maybe it's a map pricing in effect thing then? even for the almighty Walmart. cause you're in rural NC aren't ya?

a nice reminder. just cause we don't want to upset the mods and have them toss us all in the D.A. thread....no politics allowed here.

Prices have varied in stores at Waldemarts for a long, long time. As long as it's still $35 online, you can order and have it shipped to you or if you prefer, pick it up at the store.

Yea i will check my other two local wm’s to see if they still at the lower price. As a collector club member the price is about close to the same as WM just more convenient to toss one in the cart when the wife’s not looking lol.
110 is the only model i get there. Everything else is through our great Buck.com store.

The thought had occurred to me that they are just adjusting to the inflation and going with the MSRP or MAP as you suggested. I think the MSRP on a 110 is $60 though if Buck has raised that WM maybe adjusting to Buck. I will have to check MSRP as you would think MSRP would eventually be affected by inflation?

Ok, that took some extra clicks.

When location made known, Wally World wouldn’t sell me a knife at 34.77. It said the lower priced knife was SOLD OUT and only the $44 version was available for purchase.

When I used a VPN and hid location, the lower-priced option was for sale. Signing in after it was in the cart didn’t change anything, the transaction processed.

so their trying to control costs to match areas and maybe store prices too, sounds like. thanks for testing and explaining. sounds like you found a work around too......

$34 is less than the BCCI discounted price.

The cheaper version is ‘sold out’ near me, all rest priced at $44
Is copper and clad still a supporting dealer? Ive searched but no luck.

When I checked the website, only the $44 110 showed up on search, but in the suggested items on that 110 page there is a 110 with no price and when you add it to the cart, it is $34.47--regardless of my location.
