What’s the heaviest folding knife you carry?

I didn't say it was your lawn.

You probably have a landing pad.

The neighbors appreciate you shooing away kids from THEIR lawn.

🤣
Not many kids here...a few, but not enough to bother about. You're gonna have to up your game. ☺️

How do you spread the weight across three pockets?!?

E T A

Oh you mean the three blades as an edc. Sorry

I understand now.

I keep the 5Max in my right, the Charge in my left, and the little SAK rides in my watch pocket with my Zippo.

It's not exactly even, but I honestly don't notice it. I'm a HUGE baby when it comes to weight a lot of time, especially when it comes to firearms. However, today I reached into my pocket to fish out my knife and sorta forgot it was the 5Max. I was like, "Oh! Well there overkill to open this Amazon box...". 😂

I carry some sort of Spyderco PM-2, even in my pajamas. You only have to roll over on it once to get the point.

As to firearms, after multiple lumbar injuries and a broken femur, I've gotten more sensitive to weight (in the past I carried a Gold Cup) and have been steadily downsizing to accomodate the discomfort that larger, heavier guns cause; the gun you will carry, not the gun you left at home and all that. Right now I'm looking at a variety of smaller, but not tiny, 9mms.

I have deer grazing yards maintained with a scythe.

I'm not gonna lie. I put a pause behind "Deer" and "yards", so it read in my head, "I have deer, grazing yards, maintained with a scythe."

And the first thing that popped into my head was "whoa... What kind of deer does one have that need to be maintained via a scythe?" Then I thought maybe it was the deer maintaining WITH the scythe, and that opened up a whole line of questions about how they do it...do they use their hooves or is the scythe attached to them...

Well, now I'm picturing an old mountain buck as the grim reaper. Thanks. Feels like inspiration to roll up a druid for my next D&D char.🤔

Probably my heaviest pocket bricks in rotation are a Buck Onset and a Civivi Teraxe. Steel frames, ftw.

The best four legged mower is a goat.

When I had it I carried a ZT 0561 at 6.4oz. The heaviest that I carry these days is a G-10 Manix 2. I once bought a ZT 0200 and discovered it was heavier than I liked at 7.7oz.
The 0200 is a heavy beast of a knife. Thats one of the heaviest I’ve carried too. Either that, my 0909, which saw a lot of use at work over the years. I had an XM-24 that was not too terrible. It’s all about the pants really. In athletic shorts, no way. But work pants, sure. My EDC is a full ti Eklipse, at around 6oz, which is my preference. I like a solid knife 😁
