Very nice.

Of course, I trot these pictures out at every opportunity

I have a Kimber Ultra Carry that I like just fine, but never carry and don't shoot much. 1911's just don't do it for me. Give me a SIG any day.

I love the look of the 1911's but I have never owned one. They just don't fit me.

My Bearcoat Les Baer TRS has been my carry gun for almost 5 years now. It is awesome. I recently modded it with an Ed Brown ext. mag release, two Wilson Combat Bulletproof extractors (Gunsmith's choice) a new Novak white outline front night sight and 10-8 rear. The neatest one I've bought is my Colt Wiley Clapp Commander. Talo knew what the people wanted and gave it to us - such a popular design that Colt now offers it as a "21st century commander". I had it modded with the Novak front nightsight and 10-8 rear, as well as an ed brown ext. mag release.

I bought a Dan Wesson Specialist. I should have just waited a little longer and gotten the Les Baer Recon in HC. Wasn't really happy with it until I put about $300 into it. Still want it hard chromed.

If you are into high end, why didn't you get the DW Valor so that there would be no complaints. The Valor is stainless and it is coated so it is much more corrosion resistant than the Les Baer.

The Baer TRS fills the niche that the Valor fits into. Bearcoat is unbelievably corrosion resistant. No worries there.

My first .45 was a sig. I loved it til I got my hands on a Kimber desert warrior. THat was an amazing gun. Deadly accurate and never even coughed.

Now, I have a g30 and am happy with it, but its no 1911. I prefer it for home defense but Id hate to carry this fat little buger.

1911's are like busse knives, one, two, three, etc. is never enough. I love these pics

I ve only owned a Kimber. It s been a fine weapon. I ve shot a friend s Les Baer, Ed Brown, and Springfield TRP. His TRP was very impressive.

Just picked this beauty up when I was home on leave. Took 5 days to find a store that actually had it in stock in GA, so I didn't have a chance to shoot it before I had to head back. Waiting on my milt sparks ITW for it. It's my first 1911. Can't wait to get home and put some rounds through it!

Guncrafter industries.

My no name in an exodus gunleather holster with an elephant front.

Maybe one day I'll be able to afford a Nighthawk, Les, or Dan. Right now, my Colt is the best 1911 I currently have, or have owned. It's a New agent that's been back to Colt for some warranty issue prior to me. It shoots like it was meant to. I added the VZ's & the overpriced screws, but other than that, it's factory. Sights? we don't need no stinkin' sights!

The "Numero Uno" is my Ed Brown Kobra Carry. The others (Kimber Raptor II, Pro Raptor II, and the soon to be added Ultra Raptor II Satinless) are great in their own right, but the KC is IT.

Ed Brown, Wilson and then everyone else...
I have a 6" Stainless CQB and a Stainless Supergrade on order

Isn't Kimber made by Glock?
Oops sorry, a Glock is more dependable and made better, not bad for throw away guns...
