What about a Micarta Monday? Traditional knives only, please!

Glenn, what knife is that? I've been looking for a sheepsfoot/caplifter combo and the spike is just icing on the cake. I don't know if I've seen a marlin spike with a bottle opener before.
I see no one has answered your question during the past week so let me help you out. That is a BAK (British Army Knife) from WWII that Glenn moded into a mighty fine looking show piece. The ones with the cap lifter are a little more uncommon than those without but they're out there if you're patient.

Here's my contribution to Micarta Monday. It's a 2007 GEC 73EC Tidioute Scout - in Red Micarta .

Nice examples folks!! I've been REALLY impressed with the recent mixed micarta covers that a number of makers (Jared Oeser and Gene Wiseman for example) have been putting on their knives recently. So much so that I've been inspired to assemble one myself! This one's got ivory linen micarta and black canvas micarta covers with a red G10 lining:

Beautifully done, Eric. Next you should do a black cover with ivory bolster for the left pocket! :D

Eric, that's a great interpretation of the classic Barlow pattern! Really clever and really well done. If those go into production I would buy one!!! I have a coppersmith and a gold acrylic CSC Barlow and can state with experience that you make them really well.

^^^ That looks great Eric. Very nice mix of materials and colors, not to mention the great looking polishing job on the blade, liners and pins. That's a real show piece!

Here's my contribution for this Monday.

Wow Eric that knife is absolutely stunning! I'm not normally drawn to traditionals with synthetic covers but this one is incredible! Great job on that one Eric, thanks for sharing.

I just ordered the #42 G.E.C. SS blade Maroon Micarta lockback. they just came out at KSF 10 minutes ago. I cant wait.it will go nicely with my Maroon Micarta #47 Viper and Maroon Micarta Bullnose.

This one yesterday and today...it started life with a hook on it as well. Handy dandy package now, it's like a trapper and a back pocket had a baby. And it's stainless!
