What about a Micarta Monday? Traditional knives only, please!

Had a need to get a photo of this one, so I thought I would add to this thread.

Paul, that Eureka Jack is beautiful! I don't know when GEC last did a regular run of spearpoint #92's (I know they did wharncliffes recently), but I hope they do more eventually. Definitely a pattern that I'd like to get my hands on some day.

Your photo really messed with my eyes for a minute! Although I've seen the front of that book enough to know what's on it, in your photo it looked like the #92 was printed on the cover of the book, and the two stag knives were real and sitting on top (which then confused me because this was a Micarta thread). In my defense, we do have a one-month old, so I haven't exactly got a normal amount of sleep lately. :D

quite the hunt for those Ron, since I showed up on the scene too late. premium paid too i suppose. Wiser members than I know the true prices of these when they were released.

Paul is that clip point a coffee bag micarta of sorts ? It's gorgeous !!

Thanks Dan, I purchased the knife from Tim (Ryouchijtx) and it was listed as Micarta, but my first thought was "Coffee Bag Micarta" as well. It was rehandled and given satin bolsters by Chris Baker. I love the knife.

Ah. Thanks Paul for the info. I know Tim has great taste in his knives and I must add this is the best looking #77 I've laid eyes on to this date.

Enjoy good sir !

I like this PSK in Natural Micarta. Useful little knife, but it arrived looking like the scale slabs had been in a vice leaving jaw marks on it.... not bothering to buff them away  I think the fancy word/euphemism is something like 'tooling marks'
