What are some features on a knife that tun you off?

1) When I can't see the tang
2) The word "China"
3) Rainbow colors
4) Laminated wood in different colors
5) Huge handguard, especially over the spine
6) Uneven grinds
7) Crappy sheath
8) Oversized nylon sheaths
9) Too many curves
10) Excessive blade length

1. Made in China.
2. Crappy steel.
3. Crappy heat treat.
4. Liner locks.
5. Kris style blades.
6. Tanto style blades.
7. Cord-wrapped handles.
8. Slipjoints.
9. Frost Cutlery.

-and, even though it's not actually a knife feature-

10. People who think that anything over $50.00 is a waste of money, and will try desperately to convince you their $20.00 POS from China is just as good as your Busse, and all they've ever cut with their knives is string, tape, fuzz sticks, and sandwiches.

Serrations in any form and or amount
Holes in the blade
Any handle material other than solid titanium, preferably 6AL4V STA
Flippers
Any blade shape other than a general utility style blade, if you can't use it to skin a deer or clean ducks, it's kinda pointless
Coatins, bead blasting, damascus
Filework
Narrow handled folders, Thin handles and last but not least

Mechinal locks more parts means more to break, springs, bars, pins? How about a frame lock of solid 64L4V STA that is thick enough and wide enough to get the job done, its a tie for me mechinal locks and serrations

To the guy who compared the use of the word sheeple to the n word, your off base with that with assement. Last time I checked sheeple had nothing to do with slavery and or the slave trade and all that came with it. That analogy was not only illegimate and ignorant but also offensive.

Moreso, people who have never tried anything other than a $20.00 knife trying to tell you how superior it is to any other expensive knives on the market.

It's not equivalent, but it DOES serve to dehumanize people so as to disregard their opinion. I don't think you can argue against THAT, since that is EXACTLY how the word is used, time and time again.
