I know its your guys new years right now :D so you might of had several drinks already LMAO but if you were serious i would order one of the professional etcher machines and get to work LOL... I need me a part time job. I could even see about buying a pack of stencils that says "Magoo" so it looks perfect... Making the stencils seem to be the most difficult part so id get that done professionally lmao but if you have stencils and a real dedicated etcher it wouldnt be too hard at all.

I actually looked into that skull Al was talking above just for fun and found normal stencils for it, it wouldnt be too hard to get those made into sticker stencils either im sure.

Im waiting on another drop point RMD now and seriously considering the mudd mutt....and I just got this folder in below. Great folder for the price. S30V blade, with no play and centered great.

I honestly cant think of a 60 dollar folder that offers more than the Vantage pro does.
 
Just ordered a Ratmandu and a Rodent 3. I think the wait will probably kill me! I also have the sheath's on order with JG Sheath's.

I'm new to all this so....

Those were also my first Swamp Rat order. And now I'm at 5... 2 more inbound. I see no end to that madness, except maybe when I'll be in the streets, scavenging trashcans for sharp things.

The only advice I can give is: "RUN!!!!" it's not too late!

Recently got pics from my sheathmaking friend, he's working up the sheath and it should be in my hands soon. It started life as a normal gray/blk paper RMD CG, I asked the shop to regrind to FFG, take a bit off the guard, open up the choil a wee bit, recoat the blade black, and install Black G10 slabs. Couldn't be happier with my first custom, and cannot wait to have it in hand.



I cannot recall seeing a RMD Bowie CG Black/Black with G10 before, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

...agree- great folder - and the steel; S30V is hard to beat at that value!!!
One thing to complain about- the handles could be more grippy, but dosn`t ruin the folder.

Waiting on my costumized M9, RMDs and RSs (five in total).

I'm currently on a quest to have the lightest RMD made. I'm starting out with a RMD SE and sending it in for a Bowie clip. Then I will send it off to have the tang skeletonized and then have the blade and tang DLC coated. Should be one light weight Rat.

Nice knife by the way.

Yea the handle is kind of smooth, i like it though, i tried biting deep and hard into some wood and it didnt slip in my hands or anything so it doesnt bother me. Some knives with smooth feeling handles are hard to grip, or slip in the hands, but this one seems to stay put rather well!

And sounds like you have some sweet blades on the way. I miss my RS. Need to get another one of those soon.

Thats going to be sweet!! I look forward to seeing that, especially the skeletonized handle.
