Recently got pics from my sheathmaking friend, he's working up the sheath and it should be in my hands soon. It started life as a normal gray/blk paper RMD CG, I asked the shop to regrind to FFG, take a bit off the guard, open up the choil a wee bit, recoat the blade black, and install Black G10 slabs. Couldn't be happier with my first custom, and cannot wait to have it in hand.
I cannot recall seeing a RMD Bowie CG Black/Black with G10 before, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm currently on a quest to have the lightest RMD made. I'm starting out with a RMD SE and sending it in for a Bowie clip. Then I will send it off to have the tang skeletonized and then have the blade and tang DLC coated. Should be one light weight Rat.
Nice knife by the way.
