What are you watching & why? (splain)

There is no Yokozuna (the highest ranked sumo wrestler) in the competition but there are 3 Ozeki (2nd highest ranked sumo wrestler) in the competition

I enjoy MEATEATER a lot. It's the only hunting show I ever got into and it's mostly because they weren't afraid to show their failures. Cooking a meal with their harvest is also pretty excellent and tends to be the highlight of many of the episodes.

Some good moments were when they failed. Not that they failed, it just added to the experience.
I think in one or more episodes, they cooked and ate right where they dressed some of the larger game.

I saw him giving a tour of his house on YouTube the other day. Pretty interesting to see how he lives. I enjoy his show. I don’t watch hunting shows in general but I like the format of his. It’s much better than just a few guys loudly whispering in a blind until something wonders in front of it.
 
If you enjoy watching lots of eye candy, then "watch" Landman the new Taylor Sheridan series on Paramount+. Another Sheridan creation with lotsa hyperbole and presumptions which basically make the story unwatchable apart from the embedded eye candies to keep the red-blooded male audiences to continue watching. If you want to ogle over the eye candy without getting too many elbows in the sides by your S.O, there is John Hamm for the ladies and then to a much lesser extent, Billy Bob Thornton.

The scrumptious Michelle Randolph who also has a role in Sheridan's 1923 is also in this series although her role really sucks and it is very cringe worthy! How? This is a 27 YO knockout beauty who looks every bit the DDG 25-27 YO woman who she is, yet playing a wild spirited 17 YO teenager in this series!!! WTF?! I don't even want to speculate further as to why she is in 2 of the current Sheridan series, but I guess that I just did that? Then there is the gorgeous Ali Larter who play's Michelle's gold-digging mom. Meh, they can't pull off this dynamic with a straight face! For you the riper gents among us, there is Demi Moore to fix your dirty eyes on 🤣 There is also another actress who is super cute and also very easy on the eyes but I don't know of her.

So there it is, just some easy-peasy junk series watching if you already have P+ or wish to opt in for their Black Friday's sale of $2.99 per month for 2 months which can also be obtained on Amazon Prime.
 
Finished S2 of Tulsa King and was a little underwhelmed. Things just seemed to happen out of nowhere in E9 and E10. Not particularly satisfying either given the build up of multiple storylines. I'm now convinced that every Taylor Sheridan series starts off fantastic and quickly loses the charm and momentum of what made the first season great.

Most series are like that. Tough to maintain momentum.
