Andor is a standout in a franchise that’s otherwise circling the bowl.Andor- surprisingly good, all things considered.

Traditional holiday rewatch.
Please, no spoilers that there are cars racing there…!Wife and I just finished the F1 movie, and I think it was pretty accurate: it kept going, and going, and going, on and on and on and on... they probably could have shaved 6 minutes off the run time if they cut out half of the long, furtive glances between 3 of the characters. Aside from that, the story was unremarkable: cars go fast [ad placement], egos flare [ad placement], someone gets hurt [ad placement], enemies become buddies [ad placement], win race [ad placement], main guy gets the girl...
That's because it's (supposed to be) Boston! Apparently it was filmed in Bulgaria.Same here with Absentia. Watched S1 but gave up after the 3rd episode in S2. It's one of those shows which gets silly on the whodunit villain. Plus, I have never been a New Yorker but the eastern euro city where the series was filmed doesn't even remotely resemble NY!
Ol Arnie was jacked
Is the second season out? I know we saw the first one...and that I read a couple of the books.Dept. Q, I like unhappy people.

About the escapees from the Siberian Gulag?I just finished watching "The Long Walk". I read this book as a teenager, & remember it being stuck in my head for weeks afterwards. The movie adaptation wasn't bad, but of course it was nowhere near as good as the book.
Not sure about the first part.About the escapees from the Siberian Gulag?
Never seen the movie, but yeah, the book was a good read.
