Let me know what you think after you watch it. It's one of those types of films that might be easier to digest in good company.

Turns out I remembered the story partway into the film...but finished watching it anyway.

Not much I can say about it beyond that it did a good job of demonstrating the loss and sacrifice on all sides during war...most poignantly among the innocent victims who cannot escape its horrors.

Just got back from a matinee. Some casting choices aside, The Odyssey was an incredible experience. See it in IMAX if you can. A lot of epic scenes and great cinematography.

My other gripe was that the modern language was a little jarring for me.
