What are your top 5 favorite all-around EDC knives?

I read that and think that you may have found the perfect 5 knife list but, the Para 3 ruined it for me. Here's why.

I really had high hopes for the Para 3. I could not wait for it to come out. My goal was one Spyderco in my collection. Just one. I knew that I did not want the PM2. The PM offered amazing handle ergonomics but, I just was not impressed with the blade. Plus, the thing just takes up to much space in my pocket. The PM2 is so close to the perfect Spyderco but just falls short. Maybe the Para 3 is the answer? It's close but, still not there.

The Para 3 is a great knife but, it is not just a scaled-down PM2. If it was I would own one. The ergonomics were changed at the back end of the knife and that is what keeps me from purchasing a Para 3. Great knife. Just not for me.

I guess that is the only thing I could find fault with on your list. Just the Para 3. Of course, it's your list, not mine and my opinion does not count for anything or, at best, very little.

Overall, I find your list well thought out and full of decently made knives. I am impressed. Well done.

I wish the Para 3 took it's cues from the Mini Grip and just shrunk the PM2, including thickness. I'd like Delica stock with the same blade profile as the PM2.
 
Depending a bit whether I'm at the office or outdoors.
940, Native 5 and RSK got my back covered in all situations, handle wood pretty well and they feel good for prolonged use. I've walloped fish over the head with the Spydiechef too though.

Office/Everyday tasks:

And always along, a Victorinox Evo Wood 17 (Woodsman/Hiker)
 
Right mow my top 5 are:

1. Benchmade 940-1- REI Exclusive/ Green G-10 purple spacers (Been my go to for about a year)
2. Benchmade Mini Grip- 20cv gray and blue version. (Got it recently at an REI Garage Sale for $60. Return note said the previous owner didnt like the feel of it lol.)
3. ZT 0566- (Just bought it and its a tank. A little heavy for EDC but it gets the job done.)
4. Guardian Tactical Recon 035
5. Sypderco Saver Salt (Summer weekend carry while kayaking and rafting)

I always have on me a SAK on the keychain and a SAK Spartan. I have a Gil-Tek RUK coming in the mail so that will be EDC'd as soon as I get it since I deal with a lot of boxs and hate messing up blades on boxes and tape.
