Hey everyone I would love to hear your opinions of your top 5 favorite brands of knives! Mine has to be Emerson, Hinderer, Benchmade, ZT and Spyderco.

If I had a list out of 10 Kizer would be my 6th. Can't go wrong with Kizer

Companies like CRK, RHK, obviously make awesome knives but when I answer a "my top 5" I'm mostly listing what you'll find me drooling over :D

I do like ZT also but I don't buy them anymore. I have 1 Emerson that is nice but its probably my first and last by them.

Chris Reeve Knives
Giant Mouse Knives (Or Viper Knives depending on how you look at it)
Spyderco
Zero Tolerance
Benchmade

Of course! Everyone respects a CRK, but I agree with you, the drool factor on those other knives are so much greater lol. And your emerson comment makes me want to ask why only 1?

In no particular order: Emerson, Busse, Randall Made Knives, KaBar, GEC. And I love Lon Humphrey's work, if we are to consider things beyond production.

The model I have is the combat karambit. I got it for around $175 used. Emerson's are just a bit too high in price for me, if I'm going over the $200 mark on a production knife its usually a balisong.

The Emerson roadhouse has tempted me many times though ill admit :)

Chris Reeve
William Henry (not heard of much on this forum)
Emerson
SAK
Benchmade

Customs

William Henry makes unbelievable knives! Totally underrated on the forum. If you are lucky enough to have one, start a thread and posts some pics! I think everyone, including myself would love to take a gander at those beauties!
What I would do for a William Henry......

Spyderco, Zero Tolerance, Shirogorov.

I think CKF (Custom Knife Factory) deserves a mention as well. I've never been disappointed with any of their offerings.

My tastes always change but these are in order of the amount of each I own
1) Spyderco
2) Boker
3) Benchmade
4) Viper
5) SOG
