What are your Top 5 Knife Brands?

Microtech
Todd Begg
Hoback
Direware
Rick Hinderer

JHK is another great brand I tend to forget about from time to time. Thanks for the reminder lol! Damn there are a lot of great knife makers who I think should have way more attention than they currently do.

If I base my top five upon what I carry and/or use, it breaks down to:

Benchmade x 2

Kershaw

Victorinox

Gerber (multi-tool)

Victorinox jumps to the top of the list if it is based upon quantity owned.

Victorinox
Kershaw
Buck
Ontario
Mora

I don't like everything these brands offer but certain models have served me very well over the years.

Buck
Victorinox
Case
Leatherman
Vintage imperial ( very underrated working knives with a great steel and quality where it counts )

Hmmm.....By my taste, I go with Benchmade, Emerson, Protech, Microtech, and Al Mar. Unfortunately today compared to the 1990's, most are now out of my budget.

GEC
Cold Steel

1. Strider
2. Emerson
3. CRK
4. Hinderer
5. Pro-Tech
As for as production knives go. Customs, well, that is a whole other story.

Hey everyone I would love to hear your opinions of your top 5 favorite brands of knives! Mine has to be Emerson, Hinderer, Benchmade, ZT and Spyderco.

Protech
Spyderco
Victorinox
GEC
Benchmade

Honorable Mention: Kershaw

That encompasses everything that I actually carry. In that order. Though, I don't own a Protech at the moment. Maybe Santa will be good to me.

1 - Old Schrade;
2 - Queen;
3 - Strider;
4 - Emerson;
5 - Spyderco ( could have raffled #5 between Al Mar, CRK, Case and Spyderco, but I like how Spyderco keep their line up fresh year after year)

In no particular order and from what I own/have owned:
1. Medford
2. CRK
3. Strider
4. Spyderco
5. Fehrman
