What BIG Blade Tac Folders Do You Like?

I'd love to own the extra large espada but wow are they expensive!

I have contemplated the extra large but I think the large is better for me. Just in the sense that it would be easier to carry and use because of the handle length(closed). The extra large is like 9-10" closed.

That's a sweet one alright but a little shy in handle for me. Where the end of my ZT 0301 comes out of your hand, mine hit inside my palm with my pinkie falling in place behind the handle. Cool knife though, loved the speed safe!

zt 0300. i have had mine a month now, carry it every chance i get. usually carry it in a kydex belt sheath i made specifically. with that i also carry one of my Spyderco`s clipped in my pocket.

as to the Zt itself i have to say its as well made as any i own. must be one of the strongest folder you can get. Its large and in charge so to speak.

cold steel of course has many options in this category.

boker plus has the jim burke mini ressurection, a beast of a knife at a great price.

the 4in hogue ex1 is a lot of knife, and one hell of a knife too.

combative edge m1.

ok not to steal the thread but im looking for the same thing and was considering the Benchmade Rukus 610 what do you all think of those?

I believe that, the mpc extrema ratio folder is a big heavy duty folder to consider. Will be my next purchase ;-)

Gerber AF, 5 inch voyager and my Emerson Persian. I'm just annoyed that I lost my Vaquero Grande in Wilkes Barre PA (fell out somewhere)

If you can get your hands on a 610 Rukus go for it - the only 2 complaints I have:

1) Clip is a little on the weak side

2) They don't make them any more

I EDC a ZT 0301. I have a Cold Steel Rajah 2 (6" blade, LONG handle), but I only carry that monster of a folder when I can't carry a pistol.

Yupper, I carried the Rajah a few times, man you know it's there. Actually a four inch folder that has surprised me is the Spyderco Resilience. Big four inch blade and mine is as smooth as a womans bum to open, after its initial break in. Dirt cheap to boot.

First I wanted the XL, but it is to big for EDC at work. I have the Rajah and I can't EDC it correctly...
So I choose the large, I think I paid too much for an AUS8 blade but definitely love this design !!!
Since I know that a G10 version of the XL will be available, I have no regret, it 'll be my backyard toy :D

ZT 0200 is my current favorite for a large folder. I am seriously tempted to get a Spyderco Chinook 3 someday or an Emerson CQC16

Well, I scanned through and all the knives I was going to recommend got listed. But I'll list them:

Benchmade:
805 TSEK
806 AFCK
710
741 Onslaught

Spyderco:
Military/Ti

Emerson Super CQC7 ... with mods by Reese Weiland and myslef...
