What Brand Comes To Mind When You Think Of Survival/Tactical/Outdoor Knives?

For Bushcraft and survival Fallkniven, RAT Cutlery and Bark River cover my needs.

Victorinox and Buck. I don't own any buck these days. A good pocket knife was essential for me growing up, and I am not that old (29). I had an Imperial Boy Scout Knife, and then a Vic. Never needed anything else. Of course, these days I have a ton of different knives, fixed, locking, and slip. But for me, my default is a Vic or a buck folder of some kind when folks ask me what they should get for a first knife.
