What brand makes up the largest part of your traditional knife collection?

Hmm as my collection is in its infancy, Shcrade, with 4 total counting the Schrade USA guthook fixed I found. 5 if I can lump in a imperial of Ireland with them. Then Rough Rider with 3, buck with 2 all the rest are individuals. For now;)

May as well include the Imperial Ireland in with your Schrade's.
I counted my Imperial Ireland Barlow in my Schrade count. :)

Majority of mine are Case, by a wide margin. #2 would be GEC, then Victorinox at #3 but they are close, so maybe reverse that order. Then Buck and Queen tied at 3 each, 2 Rough Rider, 2 USA Schrade, 2 Taylor Brands Schrade, 1 Canal Street. With the incoming forum knife, Buck will break the tie with Queen. I also have a handful of modern folders.

I like vintage knives best. About half of mine are Case and the other half German eyes, kissing crane, and Schmidt &Ziegler. I’m enjoying looking at the Great Eastern knives posted here.

Buck and Case; not sure which brand I have the most of - but there are lots of those two brands. In third place I have a couple of shoe boxes full of USA made Schrade Knives (mostly Old Timer and Uncle Henry). Then (in no order at all) Imperial, Boker, Ulster, Utica, Camillus, Western, UF&H, AF&H, Robeson, Colonial, one Fight'N Rooster, Wilkinson Sword, Kingston, and who knows what else. OH

Welcome to the Forums B Bull71 . I sort of agree with you on Vintage Knives to some extent . Some day you should try a GEC .

Thank you Harry!

I’ve handled a few. They seem nice. I used to feel that I could buy a good vintage knife for same or less money. That’s getting harder to do it seems. Sure like looking at all the knives here, I like this place!

Certainly agree with you on the cost of good Vintage Knives . It will be nice to see you around the Porch .

I'm only a "collector" of knives I will use frequently, and I live on a tight budget when it comes to blades, so my collection is small. Let's see. . .

I have 5 by GEC (#15 Boys knife, #15 Navy Knife modded to Lambsfoot, #77 1-blade Barlow, #35 Churchill, #47 Viper)
I have 3 by Roland Lannier (Why So Serious, Just a Little Serious, & Spring-Heeled Jack)
I have 3 by Case (slim trapper, tiny toothpick, 2-blade teardrop--the first was a GAW win, the other two were gifts)
I have 2 by Perceval (L-08 & Le Francais)
I have 1 Northwoods (Fayette Jack)
I have 1 Lionsteel (Shuffler)
I have 1 Au Sabot (Le Garonnais)
I have 1 fixed blade hunter made by a custom maker (also given to me as a gift)

I also have a few moderns that shall not be named.

Here's a few:

I am going to have to check to be sure but probably GEC, Buck, then neck and neck Northwoods followed by Case, then Schrade/Schrade-Walden (only one Schrade, the rest are S-W), Craftsman, Wenger/Vic. Also some LT Wrights, a Ka-Bar, Indian Head, Western, Camillus, Hen& Rooster, etc.

CSC holds the #1 spot in my collection by a fair margin.
GEC and Victorinox are tied for place #2.
Once I get the 2018 forum knife in hand, Buck will bring up the rear.
