What brand makes up the largest part of your traditional knife collection?

1. Case
2. Everybody else

After the multiple sell-offs I had in 2017, I have around 20 knives from Case while GEC, Buck, Imperial, Schrade, Opinel, SAK, etc all have 5 or less. I had close to two-dozen GECs at one point, but those are long gone.

I don't really have a collection, I consider it a small horde of knives I use.

1. Case
2. Schrade
3. GEC, Victorinox

Robeson, Remington, Iskra, Carl Schlieper, Giesen & Forsthoff, Linder, Wenger all share their place. I only have one of each. A few are mistery knives without markings.

Who’s counting? I have at least half a dozen from each of the following makers: Opinel, Case, Mora, Victorinox, Rough Rider and Condor, with Opinel and Rough Rider contending for the top slot.

Vic SAKs dominate in terms of numbers. Second are the slippies made by GEC. I wouldn't even know that except with the GEC stuff I started a "list" last year as I couldn't remember what I owned. Case and Queen/S&M are about tied in terms of numbers. I don't collect knives, so I am starting to review my inclinations about future purchases. I don't see much point in owning 50 GEC's for example. I don't sell them. I do intend to buy a #14 with a clip blade on it however....

Come on guys and gals. Don't just tell us what ya got show us some of what ya got.

This is what I have sitting on my desk currently.
I have some others squirreled away somewhere ...
Like my #66s are on my night stand, some knives are on the garage workbench, some are in the vehicles, and a couple of Shrades that I bought over 35 years ago are sitting in a steamer trunk in the garage (keepsakes).

Ya. When I first started roping I needed a "good" pocket knife. I bought a couple of Schrades (one lockback and one stockman) from a local western store in Phoenix. I've kept them all these years because they remind me of some good times. Other knives have come and gone, but I'll hang onto those forever. Some day I'll dig them out and snap a picture.

An Old Uncle Henry 897 is possibly my favorite stockman and I just picked up a Schrade LB5 (lockback) a couple days ago. Made 1983 I am very impressed with the it. Couple of great knives, I look forward to seeing yours one day.

I didn't consider myself a knife collector until I learned about GEC Knives. GEC's, including Northwoods offerings, account for the single largest group of my knives. Followed by Victorinox, Case, and Buck.

Case, followed by Victorinox with all the other brands far behind. If we were just talking cost, then GEC would be a close contender.

I don't have many pre-2006 Schrade knives nor post-2006 Schrade knives for that matter and no group shot of any that I have. Here are some pictures of the ones I have.

I have several of these 2007 Schrade Fire&Ice knives. Manufactured by GEC, they are first rate knives.
