What knife brands do you like? Are there any that have never made a bad knife in your opinion?

Please keep it to mass production brands, no limited-run or custom knifemakers.

Gerber, SOG, Cold Steel, Buck, CRKT, Kershaw, Victorinox, Opinel, etc.
 
Spyderco, ZT/Kershaw, Emerson, Benchmade, Case, ESEE, Strider, Hinderer, Chris Reeve, Cold Steel, Busse, Scrapyard Knives

Nope. No one is perfect, and even the best companies put out some stinkers at times. But overall, I find these companies make great products: Kershaw, Spyderco, Fallkniven, Cold Steel, Victorinox, Opinel.
 
I think kershaw makes good products for low prices and I think spyderco makes great products for medium prices (imo)
 
I think every manufacturer has at least one good knife and a couple of steamers besides...
 
Spyderco, Benchmade, ZT and Great Eastern Cutlery. are my favorites.
 
Spyderco, Kershaw, Al Mar, EK, Case and Great Eastern Cutlery, are my favorites but i like lots of others too.
 
I've only used Kershaw and Benchmade so far. I like them both, though Benchmade, as I'm sure everyone knows, is a bit pricey. I only have a mini ambush, part of their redline.
 
No Gerber fans? I mean, I know they've made some low-end junk, but they've also made some durable and reliable blades too, haven't they? I love my LMF II, MK II, and FAST folders.

I have a couple of SOG blades, one I haven't really used and one that chipped the first time I used it... not too sure about them...

My first Cold Steel blade arrives tomorrow (Rajah II), but I hear mixed reviews about CS.

My Victorinox SwissChamp has survived nearly 20 years of my abuse and is still in one piece (still relativrly sharp too).

Define "bad knife".

There isn't any company that hasn't made a model that I don't like.

There isn't any company that hasn't made at least one model that I do like.

There isn't any company that has made a model that nobody likes.
