I sometimes think if I had only a 118, it would be the only fixed blade knife I would have ever needed, but what fun would that be, ha ha…
 
Retrofitting footing drains is a dirty job, so I take a knife that I can wash under the faucet without reservation.

Hands down I like the BuckLites and Buck LT’s for my fishing knives for the same reason (not for filleting but for cutting bait, mono/braid, line, etc.). Use them hard, wash them up and touch up the edge - about as maintenance friendly as any knife can be in tough conditions. That’s a nice old model you have there. OH
