What Buck are you carrying today?

Almost pocketed my (standard) 301, but decided to go with a large (4 3/8" closed) stockman instead.
Sure wish Buck would bring back the 307(? the one bigger than the 301) at an affordable price. It would probably never leave my pocket except when using it.

Carrying my new 110 today, as a neck knife.

This knife is a wonderful whittler. I really love the skinny clip point, makes detail work a breeze!

That's how I carry as well. That's a nice pouch . . . source?
It is a very convenient way to carry.

I got this pouch from Big Sky Knife on Ebay. They have almost 200K items sold, so I think it’s some sort of company.

I don’t know anything about the sheath maker or company, but I will say this pouch is pretty nice. It’s got quality leather and good craftsmanship.

how ya carrying it? belt sheath, back pocket against wallet, .....?

love the 317 and 334 knives.
Belt sheath. Many decades ago it would have been in right hip pocket. However, after losing a 110 through the hole in the pocket I stopped that practice. Oddly enough the hole in the out pocket was caused by the bolster on the 110.
I have another 317 that I plan on deleting the skinning blade. Something about single slip blades on knives of this size, makes me want more of them

Thin sliced, try to remove silver skin. Flush meat to remove as much blood as possible.

Crushed garlic.
Aloha Soy sauce.
Budweiser.
Brown sugar.
Crushed ginger.

Soak for three days.

Straight on an open mesquite fire BBQ. My wife eats it raw lol.
nice. sounds good there.

bet the fellas here that haven't seen your octopus jerky would dig on that......

I remember ya said ya bite between the eyes to kill them quickly and humanely. no knife needed until cutting up for drying......
