What Buck are you carrying today?

Spent the whole day outside working in the yard with a 112 Slim Select that I need to send in to get rebladed and a 309

looks like that slim 112 sharpening was done on a bench grinder? what happened to it?

I broke/mooshed the tip using it to cut Nd remove carpet when I was in a bind. Also had to use it to cut through some nails with a hammer too. It's definitely been abused and I did try to reshape it with a belt grinder. It pretty much lives in the cup holder of my mower.

sounds like it had a good useful life.......

I'd think Buck would just send ya new one over reblading it.....but I could be wrong. either way.....

I've definitely abused the blade on the poor thing. I'll be sending it in for reblade within the next few weeks along with a couple Bucks for SPA and one for repair.

The '89 Stag 305 hasn't left my pocket since I got it almost a month ago, it's everything I've come to love about the 305 and then some.
The blade grinds from '98 are my favorite , but these '89 blades are great too and the stag just puts it over the top.
They're just a tad thicker and it changes the feel in a big way, makes a little knife that already punches way above it's weight really feel as capable as it is.

I'll probably finish out the month with it, but if I wait too long I may never want to take it out of my pocket.

IMG_3736.jpegWe had a lot of rain this weekend, so today was a yardwork kind of day. This 112 is one of my favorites, especially when I need a little more of a grip for what I'm working on. Please forgive that random non-Buck nut. I don't know how it keeps slipping into my pocket, but this combo works really well for me.
