What Buck are you carrying today?

Oh no, I just meant that I have the same one. 😁 I envy your ability to stick to a select few.
Oh, that's fine. I knew what you meant. The 112 may not be as convenient as a modern one handed opening and closing knife, but the big fat handles make it a comfortable user & that matters more to me now. Plus, I find that it's no more bother to take it out of a belt pouch, than it is to take a clipped modern folder out of my pocket. And in some cases, it's even less bother. Besides, carrying it on my belt leaves more room for me to stick my hands in my pockets.:) There are still times that I carry a modern folder, but for everyday use, I like the 112. But that's just me.

I concur.

Congratulations Bruce. It sounds like you're going to stay busy. Just remember- You can slow down a little now. You're not going to have to go to work, so you have an extra 8+ hours every day to do what you want. I've been retired for 12 years, and I haven't run out of stuff to do yet.
Thank you! I am hoping the next 12 years will be as you describe.

I don't think I've ever posted my anonymous 373 in this forum. About ten years ago I realized that some points I had accumulated at a big box store were about to expire and were just enough to buy this 373. Well made but the handles were really thick and square and not very comfortable. By the time I thinned them down to the same thickness as my 303s the BUCK had disappeared from the shield. (I also rounded the corners.) Ended up with a very nice user.

I think it looks great. At first I though wow those are nice covers I wonder what they are. 👍 Shield looks cool too.

New guy here. Buck fan with my first post.
