If I remember correctly I used one of those crappy Smith's clamp on sharprners with fine sandpaper wrapped around the stones for this.
I ruined a couple beaters on that thing, but got good edges on a couple knives with it.

Yes, it is. I've had it since they came out, but my larger knives don't get near as much carry time as my 112s.

I don't know who put this one together, but I can't find a single thing wrong with it. Out of the box, the edge was razor sharp, the grind perfect, and the fit & finish is flawless. I have two builds from the Custom Shop, and they're good, but craftsmanship wise, this one is about as close to perfect as a knife can get.
