I had a motorcycle accident in 1976, (Holy cow! Fifty years ago!). I had my leg in a cast for two months, and my arm in a cast for six. I needed therapy for my leg, but my arm/wrist ended up coming out of the cast fine.

Been carrying this around all morning. Had some time to burn so I knocked out some walnut scales for my new Alpha hunter select that fit my hand a little better than the originals. Not a huge fan of the plastic scales it came with. If I need to take it hunting or plan on getting it messy, I can always swap them out.

Another bonus is that it fits perfectly in the sheath I have for my 104.

Really nice job with the scales. Walnut is such an underrated knife scale material.

Thanks. I have always been partial to walnut. The pictures don't capture the deep shine on these scales. Walnut has been used forever in the gun world. I'm not sure why we don't see it used more in the knife world.
