What Buck are you carrying today?

110LT. Trying to put this one into my rotation but I might have to suck it up and buy my first 55. The LT IS light, but it is still a biggun...

Just picked up a Buck 110 LT and have beem trying to make that my EDC... a little lock slop, but otherwise a great knife. Now, if they only did the same option for the 112 I'd be VERY VERY happy.

Picked up my first 55 today. Great little knife if not a bit “rustic”. Not the best fit and finish I have seen from buck and it isn’t a super cheap knife either. Not sure why it is only a few $$$ less than a 110and doesn’t come with a sheath.

One thing that drives me crazy about Buck 110, 55, etc. is the mismatched scales that many of them have. It shouldn’t be that hard to eyeball a couple of scales and make them at least kinda matchy.

In any case, I love the size of the 55 and will likely carry it a lot.

To many of us the difference in the scales is part of the attraction. In fact I seem to recall one variation of the 110 is well known for the scales being mismatched. On a side note, I've yet to figure out a way to see both sides of a knife at the same time.

Felt like stag today, I have my Stag 112 on my belt, it need some use.

I'm going to order that knife tomorrow. It really is calling my name. You all know what I am talking about.

As for today I got out my Old Faithful. My first Buck. A 112 dated 1988. And she has been everywhere with me. Even flew on planes with it on my side back in the day.

You really can't get any better than a Buck.

I just got a new to me 312 today..I think it's a frankin Buck as it has 2 of the same blade, no emblem in the handle, model number ground off, and proud rivets in the bolsters. Odd too is there are a crosshatch pattern of dots on the proud rivets. No matter it was only 15.00 shipped. After I run some hot water and Dawn in the morning thru it I might be able to open and close easier lol !

Still have the CS 501 with nickle bolsters, s30v and walnut....riding with a CS 110 with nickle bolsters, s30v and oak.

The fingers grooves on the new CS 112 are starting to bug me...

Taking the new mini spitfire for a spin today...

One of the best things about being a Buck collector is there's no bad choice! Yesterday I was putting some recent 112's additions in a Sack Up and spotted a few old friends I haven't seen in a while..I'm picking a nickel silver red polypearl for DUC in the morning..

Decided that today I would carry another old friend 426 with OD handles and dated 1989. Great knife. I need to pull the trigger on the new generation 110 LT.
