This 101 is one of the Bucks I took on my South Dakota pheasant hunt this week, got back yesterday...great knife, great time! Used the 101 exclusively, no gunk build-up

Thanks, OH, it was a really great trip. The dogs worked great, only a few birds held long enough for them to go on point, most flushed ahead of them. We had GoPros and might have a short video or still that I can post...seeing them work was worth the trip!

I like the BOTM 112 in S30V..better since I took the clip off. So that's what I have used the last few days. For some reason I haven't grabbed one of my 112's in S35VN yet since I have wanted to try that steel. But I think tomorrow I will dig out the bareheaded Custom Lil'Jack in D2 kossex made for me. I did carry it a day or two but put it back in the display case since it really is a rare,odd 1 of 1..and I didn't want to hurt it. But as I get a little older I am thinking back to what my wife KathyJo told me when I got my first really nice BCCI Buck.."Who are you saving it for?"
