I put one in my cart and went to checkout. Price didn't reflect BCCI pricing. ???

In The Mail!!
I found one of these at an online retailer and my FOMO got the best of me. Should be here today.

From the Buck Email I received when I was put into the Pro / BCCI program: *Excludes Custom Knife Shop, Web Specials, Boy Scouts of America, Legacy, Limited Editions, and Kitchen Cutlery. Membership in the Industry Pro Purchase Program is a privilege and is intended for personal use only. You may not place orders for family members, friends, or coworkers. Buck Knives does not tolerate abuse of this program and any will result in permanent suspension.

Thanks to the bay, on my way is what my research on this forum has led me to believe to be a 1985 305 in 425m, first year Buck made 300 series in house. Supposed to be "new" and has the box and papers. I'm probably in the minority, but I loved the brief shield change with Buck on the shield (that always rubbed off). My grandpa had a Buck slipjoint with this shield type that he used to carry.

Hi guys, does any of you have experience with Buck custom shop? I’m close to ordering a Squire with Sunset Jigged bone, but last summer I bought a normal Squire and the fit and finish was really bad. Does the custom shop have better QC, or what can I expect?

I’m located in Europe, so if I get a bad apple it’s not gonna be worth it to send it back and pay VAT once again, when it arrives back from a potential service. That’s why the QC have to be good.

Bought paid for and waiting to recieve;

Buck 110 BOTM April 2023 x 2
Buck 120 NIB 1979 with box and all paperwork
Buck 119 Copper&Clad exclusive 75TH Anniversary BOS S30V steel/ red micarta handle RED MICARTA HANDLE KNIFE
Buck 124 NIB 2012 Legacy Collection, 1st year resumed production since discontinuation in 1997.

In my experience yes. Fit and finish is better from the custom shop.

My experience is also that fit and finish is better from the Custom Shop. Here's an example but unfortunately, I don't have a standard model to compare it to.

This 505 from the Custom Shop has a polished frame all around. I've noticed that the standard 505's are only polished at the bolsters. The rest of the frame is more like a satin finish. I hope you can see what I mean here without a comparison pic. This is not something that you can specify when choosing Custom Shop options. They just do it which I think speaks well for the attention to detail in the Custom Shop.

These 503's also have the same polished frame as the 505.

That horned handled 503 at the top is a beaut! Is that elk or sambar?

Now that I've joined BCCI, I figured I should start collecting some Bucks. To start, I ordered a 110 S30V. I also ordered a 303 Cadet Rosewood. Couldn't help it; too pretty to pass up and it may disappear like the 301 Rosewood. The new 110 Nickel S30V DP (or the 112) will probably be next. I blame yamsi12 for showing that one. (Thanks) 😂 But, I wanted to start using the clip 110 first and compare the DP version later.

I got an email late last night on the 117 Heritage. Saw it this morning. One on order. I've also had the 662 Alpha Pro Scout Walnut Dymalux in my cart forever - one also on order!
