My first Custom Shop order updated to "shipped", so it's "in the mail". Based on past shipments from Buck, it should be here between Monday and Wednesday.

Thanks. Did a 119 and 55s (big and small). Will see how they turn out and might be spending more money with the Custom Shop.

The 505 I bought was / is truly 100% flawless.
I'd personally never hesitate or worry about quality concerns.

I found a 24 year old mint in box 501 for a fair price and the mailman has taken 7 days to move it an hour down the road from Dayton to Cincinnati.

I’m in Virginia, so I’ll post pictures for y’all by Thanksgiving.

Well an empty package arrived yesterday. It had been opened somewhere along the way. The kicker is, I had just received another vintage 112. Neither had a sheath, so I ordered two sheaths from Buck. They are in the mail now.

Do you think it was poorly packaged to begin with, or maybe intentionally opened?

I've gotten things that I'm surprised they arrived intact, but never opened and lost.
I read seller reviews, and if they don't know how to package and ship I don't buy from them.

Craig could teach a class on proper shipping!

It looks like it was intentionally opened. It was in a small plastic envelope. I don't know if the knife was wrapped in bubble-wrap. Started a return request.

Good grief.

I guess nowadays you have to inquire if the seller is going to ship the item in a box before making payment.

I recently bought one.

No one had it available.

I went directly to Buck and found that it was available! I ordered one faster than ordering a cold beer.

My collection of patriotic Gent's should finally be complete if the knife I just won on Ebay arrives safe & sound.
I've already got the faded Glory, & the " Spirit of America " lady liberty , all I needed was this American eagle.


I don't normally have to cross my fingers, but I've had 2 Ebay purchases get lost in the mail this month.
