What Buck Do You Have on Order? Or in the Mail?

I just won a 4-dot Buck 110 for $41 in very good condition. From the Buck History site and looking at it's features I'm thinking it's 1982-85 production, maybe closer to '85 cuz the edges are fully radiused like the new ones today and that was the introduction period of that feature. This one is gonna be the 425M steel and Macassar Ebony.

A little Flitz and it'll be looking great. I'll post more pics when I get it.

For now the seller's Pics...

Don't know when I have bought a new knife - that old "direct to the customer from Buck Knives" email just got me! On impulse I bought one of these - 846 Vantage Force - 13C26 Sandvik: first time for this steel, I know nothing about it, but thinking the Vantage was discontinued I figured I'd lay one more in stock for a snowy day. OH

I bet you'll dig it. I'm not sure why the Saunter wasn't more popular. It's the classiest new age slipjoint I've seen.
Yeah, I always liked the knife, but I thought the price was a little high. I like the size and weight, and I don't care for pocket clips, so I think it will be a good fit for me. The sale price made much more appealing, so I went ahead and pulled the trigger.

Needed(wanted) a new work knife. When my kids ask me what I did at work, I tell them I played in the mud. Ordered a custom spitfire. Magnacut with orange g10 and a blue spacer. Matches my sledge hammer. We will see how she holds up.

That should be a great user. I built one of them quite a few times on the CS site, but never pulled the trigger. Mine always ended up with Magnacut, carbon fiber scales, and a black spacer.
