What Buck Do You Have on Order? Or in the Mail?

Black, white, red.....I'm not sure what flavor oak they use, but I think it looks pretty good. This one in oak was my first one from the Custom Shop. I think I ordered it the same day that they announced that they were offering the 110 in Magnacut.

I like it but I have a 110 and a 112 both in oak on order. I hope they come with that golden oak color

Ordered a 945 Santoku in Paperstone.

Looks taller than my current one, closer in height to my chef knife. I prefer a little more blade height on chef and santoku knives.

eta - also a Saunter in black to go with the OD I already have.

Arrived.

Nice. The Saunter is like the one in OD I already have, just black. The paperstone feels good in-the-hand, for me. Feels nicer than the handle on my other kitchen knives. The santoku's additional blade height gives me about 3/8" more clearance for my knuckles/ fingers. It's blade is a bit thicker than the Henckels I'm currently using, not sure if that'll be an issue with the foods I use. Next time I prep food (next week) I'll give it a workout. Looks to be a good match to the 6" chef's knife I use.

I can't believe the Saunters weren't more popular. For a modern slipjoint, it doesn't get much cooler looking than the Saunter IMO.
