What Buck Knives do you intend to obtain in 2026?

Happy New Year to the Buck Forum members! Long time Buck Knife user and collector, but I have slowed way down on buying knives in recent years. In 2025 I only bought three knives, all were Buck Knives. The Vantage Force I bought last summer became one of my favorite knives, I gifted another newly acquired Buck Knife away, and I have the Buck Trapper safely stored in it’s box. I have followed the Buck Range thread since it started, got to handle a full size Range Pro back in November and fully intend to buy one this year. What are your Buck Knife plans for 2026?

Happy New Year! I've slowed down on my knife buying too. I bought three knives in 2025 and two of them were Bucks. I don't have any specific plans for any new Buck purchases, but some of the new BOTMs, and Limited Editions will probably be tempting. Now if they'd re-introduce the 112 Slim lineup with a Magnacut blade option, or even offer them in the CS, I'd be all over that.

Happy New Year, Buck fans.
For the past few years I've tried to slow down and curb my buying.
Buck Knives doesn't seem to want me to do that! They keep coming out with splendid examples of their model line either in their "stealth" offerings or the BOTM.
The ;new range line up hooked me and will do so again when they come out with different covers and steel.
Buying new is not the only way I have to spend my money...I have had Leroy recover and or modify knives that I have bought or will buy for that purpose.
I'll just try not to end up in the 'poor house'.

I have a recent fascination with “big” knives. Along the lines of a Bowie. In my searching recently I discovered the 124. It is new to me. I’ve been a Buck fan for over 40 years but I’m not knowledgeable about all the different models that have been produced over the years.

I keep reading on the internet in various places that the 124 is discontinued. On the Buck website it just states the 124 is sold out. If I do the custom knife order form for the 124 the add to cart button is clickable. I’m considering ordering one with a handle material that is different than the standard black one. I’m partial to either Ironwood or a micarta (not sure which color).

The 124’s that I’ve seen on ebay this past week are a bit pricey in my opinion considering their condition. If I’m going to spend over $200 I’m thinking I might as well do a custom order directly from Buck. I may just wait and see if a bargain shows up in the future.

112 thin with ebony scales, brass or nickel bolsters, pocket clip, and either 440 or S30v (not magnacut).

Range Pro with tan micarta scales and 154CM (not magnacut).

Stockman with granadillo scales.

500 Duke with axis lock.

Large Saunter with either tan micarta or ebony scales (w/ an optional deep carry pocket clip?).

Spitfire (either size) if they re-design the scales to pair with the Range pocket clip(s). 440 or S30v (not magnacut).

[No cerakote on any of the above.]

I don’t think the 124 has been discontinued. A couple of years ago, Buck made the 124 a web exclusive available only on the Buck web site and it is no longer sold through dealers. When dealers no longer had any in stock, rumors started that it had been discontinued again.

I would like a 55 in magnacut in a classy unique scale material. I would buy another 101 and I regret passing on the 111 stealth run. A 124 in upgraded steel. Hoping to see some more use of bone and horn this year. I’m also a sucker for the marbled CF they use.

Somebody doesnt want Magnacut. Isn't freedom of choice awesome?

I want to ask 'why?', but don't want to derail the threads topic.

😊

I'd like to think I will be able to obtain a Buck with a 5160 blade, but it's not the latest buzz so it's extremely unlikely that they'll release anything in 5160 or that it'll even be something I want if they do.

For more realistic expectations, there are still a couple 305's that I need to check off of my list.
I believe there's a couple smooth yellows and a sawcut red.
Plus I want a standard black 305 from the 90's when the blades were at their best.
