What Buck Knives do you intend to obtain in 2026?

Well I have a 105 on the way from the bay. I was just looking to see if I could find a non tactical sheath for a 655. Not finding one directly I wondered if another model sheath would fit. So I looked up some specs on the Buck site and thought that maybe a 105 sheath would work. That just led to buying a nib 105. I might as well start filling in the gap between it and my 119….

For 2026 I have put a spending moratorium in place. I plan to use the knives I already have.
Nine days into the New Year and our resolutions are still intact! LOL!

I’m not poking fun at you - only myself because I have a similar spending moratorium, but I know that I can’t hold out too much longer. LOL!

So far this year I have bought a few knives. I pretty much never buy a knife for myself to use as all the knives go into my collection. Weird I know but can't buy anymore firearms so I switched to knives. Somewhere along the line I really started liking Buck 110 knives. That lead to more 110s and other Buck folders and a few Buck fixed blades. My first Buck for this year is a Buck 112 Ranger Auto Elite with MagnaCut Steel, G10 scales, nickel bolsters and pins. Just checking my spread sheet I noted I didn't have a custom 112. I will order a custom 112 which will include stag scales.

I guess I could clarify on the no firearms. I have a fair amount of firearms but I am getting old and not doing well at all. There really is no sense in buying firearms since I am unable to shoot them. I have always liked knives and firearms so I focus on collecting knives. I hope that clears up any confusion.

Thanks, it does. Sorry about your not being able to use your firearms.

I'm old, but luckily, able to use the firearms I have. Have more than I need, but not collecting, like my knives, it's more accumulating.

I have loved knives and guns since I could walk and talk.

I'm hoping to get a slim heritage 112 in nickel and a 117 at some point this year. Also, if I have some luck at the card tables or in prop bets this year, I'll look at pulling the trigger on a nickel water buffalo 112 in magnacut.

Those are nice but I’d love one in the traditional blade shape and materials.
The 110 & 112 Slim Selects make great knives for when things are going to get sloppy or muddy, and you don't want to mess up your good Bucks. The darn things are inexpensive, very light, and pretty much indestructable.

I already pre-ordered a new 112 Slim Heritage, because I've been waiting for Buck to come out with something just like this in Magnacut.
