Wich low priced knives($20-50) Are a must have. The kind of knife that you should own and there is no excuse not to (price)

spyderco tanatious
spyderco persistence
kershaw leek

you get the idea

Cheap as in good value for the price:

Buck 110
Buck Vantage Pro
Boker Subcom

Victorinox Swisschamp

In addition to the ones you already listed...:D

For inexpensive knives, to me it would have to be:

Tenacious

Kershaw DWO

Queen Country Cousin :thumbup::thumbup:

RAT 1

Kershaw JYD II

CRKT Drifter (must be reprofiled, though)

CASE peanut

All very affordable, all great knives. Most of the time I have two pocket knives with me, one extra sharp and in the pocket, and the other clipped on the pocket for heavier work.

Robert

Kershaw Ener-G
SAK
Case Swayback Jack
Mini Griptilian
Delica
Subcom or other CLB Boker
County Comm Mini Widgey bar(not a knife but better than prying with a knife)

Heard good things about the Rat-1 and some of the low end Cold Steel folders too.

^Indeed. I'll echo everything that has already been said and add:

Buck 301 stockman

Mora #2 (large wooden handle, full stick tang, and laminated steel)...

Machetes from Tramontina and Condor

If axes count, the Estwing Sportsman's axe

-and Esav, if you ever sell a sebenza on the exchange please let me know:D:p.

SAK Soldier
SAK Classic (every person on earth should have one of these, IMO)
Kershaw Chive

Benchmade Griptilian
Buck 110 & 112
Kershaw OD-1
Opinel (any)
Cold Steel American Lawman
Becker (any)
Iisakki Järvenpää Lapland Puukko
Swiss Army Knife - Explorer

Can't help but be impressed by the Kershaw Scamp.

Love all the $100+ suggestions by the way...

The old alox Victorinox Soldier with its great history is a must have in my opinion. If you can find a Buck 110 for the given price range, that would be a must have too, that is also a great classic. Further: any Opinel and a classic Mora.

+1 for the Mercator and the Buck 110

Further:

Rough Rider rigging knife (RR 577)
C.Schlieper (German Eye) Sodbuster
+ everything else from Friedrich Olbertz ;)
Hanwei Paul Chen Quan Dong Folder

Not a knife but my first choice tool:
Leatherman Juice CS4
