What covers would you like to see from GEC?

Bark ram's horn is the best, when it's high quality, like this Cuban from 2007.

Also, more of the burl woods, even at a premium price. They have made a few spectacular ones in the past, like this Scout in box elder burl.

Since we're talking funky wood, how about some desert ironwood dark/light sapwood transitions? I always liked the way that looks.
Yes, I'd like to see desert ironwood too. Arthur Wright and Son Sheffield make a knife with desert ironwood that looks very nice.

I'll go with the popular choice of ram's horn - Bill has used it a few times in the past and they do it well.

I recall seeing an unusual coloured jigged bone they called reptile bone on an early run of #23s. I thought it looked cracking and would love to see some more offerings.

And lastly, I would love to see some more of the rarer acrylics that were used for the '08 open house #25s - many of these I have never actually seen, be it in pictures or otherwise....

Lots of sweet acrylics on that list Paul!

Number one on my list I'd like to see return is Patriot acrylic.

Thanks, Shaggy and Wilted Kilt, they are nice, that's why we need more of 'em! Even the smooth interior ram's horn is beautiful, as it has a translucent character unlike any other material. This #48 trapper is from 2010.

I feel like I'm the minority here, but I really have no desire for acrylic handles. I'm all about the natural materials on traditionals. Different strokes I guess.

I can't have acrylics either, they just do nothing for me, outside of maybe two old real world non-GEC examples. But I would love

Koa!! Beautiful Koa!
