What did you do to/with your Becker today?

Yesterday I used my 24 to cut large slices of pizza in half. I also let my cousin use it and she really liked it. This was at Ian's Pizza in Madison, WI less than a block from the capital.

Used my 9 to clear out some 3/8" thick Johnson Grass and 1" thick Giant Ragweed, chopped off low limbs from several trees and chopped down some small hackberry trees Celtis occidentalis, a member of the elm family and is a damn nuisance weed here (used a chain saw for the ones larger than 1 inch).

made fire.

.....and drank beer. mmmmm, beer. "the cause of...and solution to...all mankind's problems." - Homer J. Simpson. Party on, Garth.

Sharpened my 9 cause had a little incident with a rock last outing with it. Also put a 2" hole in my boot with it. Made it to the toes and got nicked but not deep though.

Used my 14 to open some chicken for the grill and ten just now to slice a few lemons.

Man I love this thing even more now that it's stripped

Actually about a week ago....

Used the BK5 to disjoint the ham of a wild pig from the lower leg, then both pieces went into the crock pot with some sea salt and liquid smoke. The meat is a lot darker and waaaaay leaner than domestic pig.

It was even better the next day as sandwiches...

And the day after with some stir fried cabbage and sriracha over rice...

I do love the BK5!

Dammit Greg! Kalua pig 3 days in a row? Yer killin me!

Chopped down some dead pine trees (thank you pine beetles, for ruining the landscape. At least we have thousands of saplings and young trees growing out of the rot, like a phoenix from the ashes) with a BK9. This thing is amazing!

Not much outdoor activity going on for me at the moment. I've been using the 15 for a lot of indoor cooking chores, but the 5 has been gathering dust. I couldn't wait for a camping trip so I pulled it out to see how it stacked up in the kitchen. I gotta say as much as I like the 15, the 5 does a great job too. The 15 might have a slight advantage for finer work though. I'm glad to have both available.
Working on a chuck roast.
